CALIFORNIA MASTER BEEKEEPER PROGRAM

Experience a captivating day with the California Master Beekeeper Program (CAMBP) on Wednesday, November 15, from 10 am to 4 pm!

It’s a day filled with interactive and enjoyable activities. You’ll have the chance to dissect bees, identify Nosema, EFB, and AFB, learn about SHB mitigation and Varroa management. Additionally, don’t forget to visit our kids craft table where you can listen to our honey bee playlist on Spotify. There’s something for everyone, and we take pride in supporting beekeepers across the state and the nation through our comprehensive science-based beekeeping and honey bee health education and outreach programs.

As a participant in the CSBA convention, you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to witness our dedicated members in action as they engage in public science-based education and outreach. They work tirelessly at local bee clubs, county fairs, schools, 4H clubs, and communities to raise awareness about the potential disastrous consequences related to increased pest and pathogen transfer, inadequate nutrition, pesticide usage, and the risks of overly defensive bees. We will have a lively panel Q & A discussion with industry experts about the latest research and science based beekeeping practices at 2 PM, followed by talks from Jerry Hayes and Randy Oliver.
